Since 1996 the official European Championship in Drag racing is run under FIA flag -
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile - FIA
administers the rules and regulations for the European drag racing championship.
FIA is the governing body for world motor sport. It brings together 228 national
motoring and sporting organisations from 132 countries on five
continents
